Areas of interest Environmental Education: Art Competition 2007
The Protected Areas Association of Newfoundland and Labrador is pleased to announce the winners of its province-wide 2007 Environmental Art Competition "Something Special Up North!"
launched to celebrate National Wildlife Week, April 8 - 14, 2007 and extending until May 18, 2007.
This year's competition was successful with entries from all regions across our Province.
This years winners are as follows:

PRIZES
Prizes were awarded in three categories: Elementary (grades K-6), Intermediate (grades 7-9), and High (Levels I-III).
First place winners receive mounting of own artwork and gift pack
Second place winners receive a gift pack
Third place winners receive a gift pack
JUDGING
Winners were selected based on creativity, treatment of the theme, as well as artistic ability. Judging was conducted by the PAA and winners were announced on June 1, 2007.
All participants receive a token gift of appreciation from the PAA in recognition of their efforts.
