Areas of interest Environmental Education: Art Competition 2010
Protected Areas Association of Newfoundland and Labrador is pleased to announce the winners of its province-wide 2010 environmental art competition "Art--Biodiversity--Climate Change" launched to celebrate Earth Day, April 22, 2010.
Over 200 submissions were received fom all over the province and artwork was chosen in four categories, Primary, Elementary, Junior High and High School.
This years winners are as follows:

PRIZES
Primary, Elementary and Intermediate
First place winners will receive mounting of own artwork and a $100 Chapters gift card from Aliant prize pack, and a Protected Areas Association and Canadian Wildlife Federation gift pack.
Second and Third place winners will each receive a Protected Areas Association and Canadian Wildlife Federation gift pack.
Highschool
First place winner will receive mounting of own artwork plus a $200 cash prize and a Protected Areas Association and Canadian Wildlife Federation gift pack.
Second and Third place winners will each receive a $50 cash prize and a Protected Areas Association and Canadian Wildlife Federation gift pack.
JUDGING
Winners were selected based on creativity, treatment of the theme, as well as artistic ability. Judging was conducted by Christopher Pratt and winners were announced on April 22, 2008.
All participants receive a token gift of appreciation from the PAA in recognition of their efforts.
